BARN RAISER COUNTRY ALE BY NIAGARA OAST HOUSE BREWERS
- STYLE: American IPA
- ABV: 5%
- COUNTRY: Canada
- REGION: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
- BREWERY: Niagara Oast House Brewers
From Niagara Oast House Brewers,
The Barn Raiser celebrates the neighbourly spirit in helping each other out. A “Barn Raiser” is a tradition where the community rallies to help a farmer build a barn in a day. They then celebrate with a big Ol’ shindig! So hey, next time your friends give you a hand, toast ’em with an Oast!
Our Country Ale delivers a rich, golden colour with a hop forward, citrusy character.
Appearance | Golden orange with a nice white head.
Smell | Fruity (mainly peaches) and hops.
Taste | Crisp, hops, grapefruit, citrus, and sweet malts.
Aftertaste | Dry with lingering notes of citrus and hops.
Overall | This is a refreshing, medium-bodied ale that is thick, fruitful, and hoppy. This ale is a great session beer that one can enjoy after a day of labour-intensive work (like, raising a barn, perhaps?). It would compliment a relaxing evening spent watching hockey or outside on a warm evening. The Barn Raiser Country Ale is the flagship beer of Niagara Oast House Brewers. If you’re in Niagara-on-the-Lakes area, check out Oast House Brewers, you really can’t miss the big red barn on Niagara Stone Road.
Available at the brewery and on tap wherever it’s available.
