Overall | This is a vintage beer, cellar-aged since 2012.   What better way to spend a snowy, winter day than with a glass of this chocolaty brew and a good book? This is a medium-bodied brew that’s rich with notes of chocolates, coffee, and of course, cranberries.    It will warm the drinker up with its high ABV of 8%.   It’s a brew that would be welcomed at the dinner table to compliment a rich dessert.   Fans of chocolate stouts like Wellington Brewery’s Chocolate Milk Stout or Flying Monkeys’ Manfestio or BNL would certainly enjoy this beverage as well.  The cranberries are dried and sweet that are in harmony with the chocolates and bitter coffee. It’s easy to recognize this beer on the shelves of the LCBO, the box adorned with a very burly lumber jack. From Mad Tom to Winterbeard, Muskoka Brewery knows how to compliment the seasons with the brews.
