  • STYLE: Pale Ale
  • ABV: 5%
  • IBU: 35
  • COUNTRY: Canada
  • REGION: Guelph, ON
  • BREWERY: Royal City Brewing Co.

Appearance | Hazy, dark orange with little to no white head.

Smell | Citrus, hops, and hint of pine.

Taste | Smooth, citrusy, hops, with a hint of bitterness.

Aftertaste | Citrusy with slight bitterness.

Overall | Dry-Hopped Pale Ale is one of the regulars at Royal City Brewing Co.   Poured from a 2L growler, it’s an unfiltered American Pale Ale.   This delicious beer  is a gateway beer for those newcomers to the Craft Beer scene; not overbearing on the palate.    The Brew Head can see this becoming a regular in the fridge.   Luckily for The Brew Head, it’s only a half-hour walk to the brewery and within walking distance of downtown Guelph.   Royal City just doesn’t sell 2L growlers, they also sell 1L & 4L growlers.  The bottles are coming within the next couple weeks.

Expect to see more reviews of these guys!  Check out their seasonal ‘Gordon Hill Hefeweizen’ – it’s a delicious and tasty treat!

Brewery | $12 (Including 2L Growler) | 2L | Regular
